"Swastyayani" : a Psycho Industrial Scheme
Swastyayani Vrata" is said to be a psycho-industrial scheme, oriented for welfare of both the individual practitioner and the society. Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra, the latest incarnate, is the initiator of the scheme. The scheme is an important component of Sri Sri Thakur's ideological paradigm, which in totality, aims to uphold and promote human existence along with its becoming.
Objective
Viewed from a pragmatic angle, the scheme aims to initiate two progressive processes.
- Personality development, making the practitioner of the vrat
achievement oriented.
- Social engineering, with a view to usher in collective prosperity,
mobilizing social energy from within.
Operating condition
The scheme operates by daily practices of five principles by the individual practitioner, who is initiated into the vrat. Observation of these principles is possible only on condition that there is a living Ideal (Sri Sri Thakur) at the center of a person's life and social system. Individual and social groups ought to have active allegiance, adherence and association with the Ideal. Therefore, an ambience of love and devotion for the Ideal as well as service and sensitivity for the members of the society set the operating condition for effective functioning of "Swastyayani vrata".
Result
The end result of all this is supposed to be deliverance. It is deliverance of individual from all limiting factors like ignorance, disorientation and complex mongering. Society at large is expected to be free from the bondage of poverty, disharmony and discord.
Circulated at 5th National Conference on Swastyayani, held at Ranchi (31st May - 1st June 2002), by the Organizing Committee for general awareness.
